November: the perfect month for a sandpit

Granted, the weather hasn’t been spectacular recently. And it may be nearly Christmas and all. But that doesn’t mean November isn’t the perfect month for a sandpit.

That’s according to Garden Games anyway, who persuaded me  to try out their hexagonal wooden sandpit, just one amongst a varied and rather tempting collection.

Clearly putting a sandpit together is a Sunday job, so I took on the role of Project Manager while the (self-proclaimed) Northern Love Machine did his thing:

According to Mr Fix It, this was an easy sandpit to construct, with simple and clear instructions. He was also impressed with the sturdiness of the design and finish of the wood.

It comes with a thick liner to contain the sand inside the wood, and an all-weather cover – rather handy at this time of year.

The Garden Games hexagonal wooden sandpit is available to buy online from £59.99 – and the NLM thoroughly recommends it.

Disclaimer: This is a review post. We were sent a sandpit for review. As always, all views are my own.

  1. That looks wasted as a sandpit. You should hijack it as a raised bed for courgettes!

  2. Oh it’s gorgeous! I love the slideshow too. I have dreams of Talitha playing in a sandpit. But I know our cats will see it as an open invitation to relieve themselves. Ah well.

  3. Expat Mammy

looks cool hope frog has fun
